The Purpose of Job

This position is to deliver the topic of Life Skills under the coordination of Technical Field Officer as central arranger in making schedule and run-down of Life Skills sessions with the youths; in alignment with work schedule by the team.

The life skills topics are focused on the following modules:
  • Goal Setting and Planning: Identify important life goals; Know how to set goals effectively; Know how to plan to achieve the set goals; SMART criteria and aspects of; 5W1H in setting realistic goals.
  • Decision making: Start with identifying their most important values and respect the positive values of others; Adopt an open mindset. Steps in problem solving. Consider and analyze benefits and risks.
  • Money management: Understand the importance of money as resources and terms of trade. Wants vs needs. Prioritization. Good vs bad use of money. Financial literacy and exercise. Introduction to A2F.
  • Business Planning: Understand the importance of planning. Steps of making a good business plan, ie. farm business plan. SWOT analysis. Practicing making a farm business plan. Documents and tools: work schedule, cost structure, and revenue generation estimate.
Skills & Requirements
  • Have a diploma or bachelor's degree in education/communication or related studies.
  • Develop and tailor-made manuals, kits, and guides of modules in Bahasa Indonesia with the “youth-centered” specific target
  • Is genuinely interested in the concerns of youth beneficiaries
  • Sincerely desire to be personally involved with youth and help achieve learning life skills
  • Provide a safe place and environment for the youth group in learning
  • Guide discussions. teach, practice, and reinforce the ideas taught in the manual. Research shows that the best way to learn is through practice with games, role plays and rich pictures
